Harrogate Town's losing run ends with a draw
Harrogate Town ended their five-match losing run with a 1-1 draw at home to Bishop's Stortford.
Paul Brayson had a goal disallowed before opening the scoring for Town only for Dwight Gayle to equalise.
Town manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "I suppose you've got to look at it and we've ended that sequence and it's nice to get a point.
"It would have been a lot better with three but there weren't any moans and groans with the performance."
He added: "At the start of the season you aim to get three points from every home game, especially the likes of Bishop's Stortford who are travelling long distances to get here.
"I thought that we set a good standard and we didn't look short of confidence at all.
"In the first half I thought we were really good but it just wouldn't go our way and we picked up our customary injury before half-time again.
"Richard Pell is a massive presence for us and he's picked up a hamstring strain.
"At least we're knocking on the door. It was more like Harrogate Town.
"I'm very proud of the efforts and spirit because it's easy for people to get uptight. I'll back these lads to come through it."
