The top two sides in Guernsey's Priaulx League both went down to surprise defeats on Saturday.

Leaders North lost 2-1 at Rovers as the Port Soif side moved up to fifth with their second win of the season.

Belgrave Wanderers could have gone top, but the second-placed side failed to capitalise as they went down 2-1 at fourth-placed Sylvans.

Elsewhere bottom side Rangers got their first points of the season as they beat Vale Rec 3-1 at St Andrew's.

The defeat sees Vale drop to second-from-bottom, four points clear of Rangers.
