Darlington 0-0 Forest Green

Forest Green extended their unbeaten league run to seven matches as they gained a draw at Darlington.

The Quakers almost took the lead but Dale Hopson shot over from 12 yards, before Kieron Forbes' audacious lob went narrowly wide for Forest Green.

Rovers goalkeeper James Bittner kept the scores level when he blocked Adam Rundle's effort from 20 yards.

The visitors had the best chance of the second half but Jared Hodgkiss saw his 25-yard shot rebound off the post.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Point is meagre return - Hockaday

Forest Green Rovers manager Dave Hockaday told BBC Gloucestershire:

"I'm pleased with the performance, yet I'm disappointed we only got a point. We hit the post twice. Bittner didn't have a shot to save all game.

"In the second half we dominated. We dug in, we looked stronger and fitter. We looked like we wanted it more and we were the only team who were going to win the game.

"Today we've come here and dominated, we were the better team. On another day we would have won."
