Brighton 1-0 Nott'm Forest

Substitute Will Buckley snatched the points for Brighton with an injury-time winner as Albion beat Nottingham Forest to climb back into the play-off places.

The defeat left the visitors languishing in the bottom three.

Buckley's goal was the only highlight of a dreadful encounter at the Amex Stadium, which was hardly surprising given both sides' recent form.

Brighton's Poyet pleased for Buckley

Buckley scored when he collected Craig Mackail-Smith's pass 12 yards out and beat Lee Camp at the near post.

Little happened in the first half other than a speculative shot from Paul Anderson and a Radoslaw Majewski free-kick over the crossbar three minutes before the break.

The second half was not much better. Marcus Tudgay and Garath McCleary had chances within five minutes of the restart, both missing the target when they should have done better.

At the other end, Noone headed wide from 12 yards out, Anderson tried his luck from long range again before Tudgay, McCleary and Majewski followed his lead, all failing to trouble Brighton goalkeeper Casper Ankergren.

However, Buckley, a 76th-minute replacement for Craig Noone, broke the deadlock in the second minute of injury time.
