Defeated Kean sees positives
- From the section Football
Blackburn manager Steve Kean sees the positives in his side's display despite a 3-1 defeat to Stoke at the Britannia, the Lancashire club's eighth loss of the Premier League season.
Rory Delap glanced in Jermaine Pennant's free-kick to open the scoring for the hosts before Glenn Whelan's shot was deflected past Paul Robinson following a determined run from man-of-the-match Matthew Etherington.
Peter Crouch added a third, latching onto a Marc Wilson long ball that eluded the Blackburn defence, before Ruben Rochina's fine left-footed strike completed the scoring.
Blackburn are 19th in the Premier League with one win from 13 games.
