Luton Town boss Gary Brabin vows to win promotion

Luton Town boss Gary Brabin is convinced that his side will earn promotion to League Two this season.

The Hatters are in their third season outside the Football League and Brabin is under increasing pressure to escape the Blue Square Bet Premier.

But one win in five league games has left Luton seventh, 11 points adrift of leaders Wrexham.

"I genuinely believe we're going to get promoted this year," Brabin told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"That's my genuine belief. I want everyone else to keep believing."

Brabin questions referee consistency

Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Lincoln was the seventh time this season the Hatters have dropped points from a winning position. And that is a trend Brabin knows must be addressed.

"We have little setbacks," he said. "And, when you look at the margin at the top of the table, that's the hardest thing to take.

"We need to pick up more points. We understand that and we're working hard for it.

"But one thing I do genuinely believe is we'll get promoted."
