Ian Walker loses job as Bishop's Stortford manager
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Ian Walker has left his position as Bishop's Stortford boss by mutual consent after nine months in charge.
The Blue Square Bet North side were hammered 5-0 in Saturday's FA Trophy tie against Carshalton.
That result followed a seven-game run without a win in the league.
Chief executive Franco Del Basso said: "I would like to thank Ian for his endeavours for the club and wish him well for the future."
Coach Fraser Skimmings becomes interim manager of Stortford, who are 20th in the table and in the relegation places.
He will take charge for the first time in next Saturday's game at Gloucester.
