Striker Liam Hearn is urging his team-mates to write their own names into Grimsby Town's history book.

The former Alfreton striker has already scored three hat-tricks this season, contributing 13 goals in total.

He will lead the line when the Mariners play Salisbury in the FA Cup second round replay on Tuesday.

He told BBC Look North: "There's a lot of talk about how big Grimsby used to be and it would be nice to give them some memories for today."

The reward for the winners of the replay will be a third round tie at League One giants Sheffield United.
