Lis. Distillery 2-3 Carrick Rgs

Distillery replaced Carrick at the bottom of the Premiership after Rangers won the New Grosvenor basement battle.

Carrick caretaker boss Michael Hughes was at helm for the first time and he saw his side go behind to a superb David Cushley over-head finish.

But a three-goal blitz in four second-half minutes, with Paul Owens, Paul Heatley and Paul McDowell netting, put Rangers in control.

Andy Hall slotted in for the Whites but Carrick held on and they move to ninth.
