Northern Ireland are to play Finland in a friendly match at Windsor Park in Belfast on 15 August.

It will be the third friendly of 2012 for whoever takes over from Nigel Worthington who quit as manager at the end of the Euro qualifying campaign.

Iain Dowie, Jim Magilton and Michael O'Neill are the candidates who have been interviewed for the position.

Northern Ireland are scheduled to face Norway at home on 29 February and then the Netherlands in Amsterdam on 2 June.

Northern Ireland have moved up one place in the Fifa rankings and are 88th, two places behind Finland.

They last played Finland in August 2006, when Lawrie Sanchez was manager, and won 2-1 in Helsinki.
