Pardew frustrated by manner of second goal

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is disappointed with the referee's decision to award a "cheap" free-kick that lead to Liverpool's second goal in their 3-1 loss at Anfield.

Craig Bellamy, who struck Liverpool's opener, scored the free-kick, which was conceded when Cheick Tiote challenged Daniel Agger while Steven Gerrard added a third 11 minutes later.

Pardew, whose side had lead through an Agger own goal, says he has "no complaints" about the result but hopes to bring in one or two players during the January transfer window to help build on the Magpies' successful first-half of the season.
