Suarez stance risks Liverpool reputation - Roberts

Blackburn striker Jason Roberts says Liverpool risk damaging their reputation if they continue to insist Luis Suarez is not guilty of racist abuse.

Suarez has been banned for eight games for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra in October. Liverpool have decided not to appeal against the ban but issued a strongly-worded statement defending the player.

But Roberts insists Liverpool should apologise for the incident and that clubs have a duty to educate their players about racist and cultural attitudes.
