Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has praised the performance of striker Richard Logan after his side's 2-0 win at Chesterfield.

Logan scored his second goal in two games, having netted the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Yeovil.

"He's training seriously, he's playing seriously and if he's in that kind of mindset he's as good as we can get," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.

Logan is out of contract in the summer and has stated his desire to stay.

"He's a really tough player to play against," Tisdale added.

"He can score, and he can move, and he can jump and he can compete, so let's hope he can keep that vein of form there because he seems to score when he gets the chance."

The 30-year-old joined Exeter from Weymouth in January 2007 after beginning his career with Ipswich Town.

He has scored four goals in his last six games this season and has hit the net 46 times in his Exeter career.
