Striker Spencer Weir-Daley returns to Boston United
Striker Spencer Weir-Daley has rejoined Boston United from AFC Telford United.
In his first spell with the Blue Square Bet North club Weir-Daley, 26, scored 35 goals in 79 appearances before leaving at the end of last season.
Pilgrims joint manager Jason Lee told BBC Lincolnshire: "He wanted the chance to play at a higher level but it's been frustrating for him since he left.
"It hasn't worked out for him but we know how determined he is to not let this season just pass him by."
Weir-Daley left Boston in the summer when the club withdrew their contract offer to him after their deadline for signing it expired.
He joined Telford but made only three substitute appearances for the Blue Square Bet Premier side before a loan spell at Buxton.
"We were disappointed that he left in the summer but we respected his decision," said Lee. "Every player should have that will and ambition.
"You let bygones be bygones and move forward. I'm sure that the fans will be glad to see him back.
"All will be forgotten when he pulls the shirt back on and if he scores then everyone will be happy."
