It is a six-pointer - Northampton captain John Johnson
Northampton Town captain John Johnson has described Saturday's match against Barnet as a 'six-pointer'.
The Cobblers are bottom of League Two and come up against a Bees side five points above them.
"We need to get some wins quickly. A game against Barnet at home is a good chance to get maximum points," Johnson told BBC Radio Northampton.
"We want to get out of trouble as quickly as possible. It'll be a big game, it's a six-pointer."
The former Middlesbrough man continued: "If you get off to a good start to the season then a winning mentality comes. There is a lot of winners in the dressing room but because we have been losing a lot then subconsciously that (losing mentality) can come into your mind.
"Barnet have some good attacking players. We beat them away so it would be nice to do the double over them.
Northampton come up against the league's leading goalscorer Izale McLeod, who has scored 19 so far this season, and Johnson is under no doubts that it will be a tough task keeping him quiet.
"He's done very well for them. He may have single-handedly kept them up over the past two years."
"He scores a lot of goals. We'll have to stop that threat and the players who feed him the ball," he concluded.
