Stockport 2-1 Kidderminster

Relegation-threatened Stockport picked up a crucial victory over promotion-chasing Kidderminster.

The game's first clear-cut chance ended up as the Hatters' opener, with Sean McConville firing home a powerful effort from the edge of the area.

Danny Rowe doubled their lead after the break with a 20-yard drilled shot into the bottom corner.

Nick Wright coolly finished seconds later for Harriers and Lee Hendrie squandered a late chance to level.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"I thought we did particularly well today.

"I thought we started the game really brightly. Stockport only had one effort in the first half and scored it.

"We've had numerous chances and we played some great football around the box but we didn't have the ability to finish them off."
