Midfielder David Bird leaves Cheltenham Town
Long-serving Cheltenham Town midfielder David Bird has left the League Two club by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old has made 329 appearances for the Robins since his debut in August 2003, although he had a loan spell at Kidderminster this term.
This season, he played just once for Cheltenham and four times for Harriers.
"It's a sad day but you know when your time is up. I still hope to have a testimonial here at the end of the season," he told the club website.
"I haven't got anything sorted just yet but obviously I'd like to stay in League football.
"I have had a good 10 years with the club and we've been through a lot but I hope people have seen that I have put a lot into the club and appreciate it."
