Richie Foran agrees new two-year Inverness deal
Inverness Caledonian Thistle captain Richie Foran has signed a new two-year deal, keeping him at the Highland club until the summer of 2014.
The former Motherwell and Southend United midfielder's contract was due to end in the summer.
"Richie is an inspirational player for this club," said Inverness manager Terry Butcher of the Irishman.
"He's done a magnificent job for us in the past two years and still has a major contribution to make."
And Butcher added: "Richie commands the respect of the players and the management team alike.
"Maurice Malpas and I signed up for new two-year deals and this continuity is maintained by Richie committing for a similar period."
Foran left Motherwell in 2007 to join Southend, but played only 21 matches before being loaned out to Southend.
The striker arrived at Inverness in 2009 and has been an integral part of Butcher's side, featuring in more than 100 matches and scoring 29 goals.
