Marty Haveron's treble helped Newry into the Irish Cup quarter-finals

Marty Haveron bagged a hat-trick as Newry brushed United aside in Saturday's Irish Cup sixth round encounter at the Riada Stadium.

Stephen Hughes headed Newry ahead and Timmy Grant added a second before Ballymoney pulled one back through Paul Donnegan's own goal after 34 minutes.

Haveron struck twice early in the second half to make it 4-1 and Hughes netted to complete a double.

Haveron secured his treble with a penalty 14 minutes from time.
