Charlton Athletic 1-1 Rochdale

Charlton extended their lead at the top of League One to seven points with a draw against Rochdale at The Valley.

The visitors went in front when Gary Jones burst down the right before cutting back for Nicky Adams, whose shot bobbled into the back of the net.

But Yann Kermorgant hit back to level with a stunning 25-yard free-kick.

Charlton then went close to winning it three times, Kermorgant twice being denied by Peter Kurucz, with Leon Clarke's follow-up blocked on the line.

The Addicks have moved seven points clear of second-placed Sheffield United, who have a game in hand, while Rochdale remain in the relegation zone, three points from safety.
