Arbroath 1-1 Cowdenbeath

Scottish Second Division leaders Cowdenbeath maintained their four-point lead over nearest challengers Arbroath after the two sides drew at Gayfield Park.

The hosts went ahead three minutes before the break when Chris Innes headed Gavin Swankie's free-kick into the net.

Marc McKenzie slotted home Cowden's equaliser on the hour mark following Jon Robertson's pass.

The visitors' Scott Linton was sent for using foul and abusive language but Arbroath could not profit from their extra man in the final 17 minutes.
