Call-off leaves leaders Ross County frustrated
First Division leaders Ross County were left frustrated again after their match at home to Morton was postponed.
The game at Victoria Park was the victim of heavy rain, with more forecast to follow, that left the Dingwall pitch waterlogged.
And it was called off after a pitch inspection at 1905 GMT, 40 minutes before kick-off.
A local official made the decision after the match referee was help up in traffic following a road accident.
Previous postponements meant County went into the evening having played two fewer games than second-top Falkirk.
The Bairns were three points behind going into their home match against third-top Dundee.
County manager Derek Adams said he had rested players for their Scottish Cup replay against St Mirren as he was mindful of a backlog of fixtures.
Following that home defeat, County slipped at the weekend when they were held 1-1 at home to bottom side Ayr United.
