Rijkaard's Saudi future in balance

Saudi Arabia coach Frank Rijkaard admits his position is in doubt as a 4-2 defeat to Australia ends his side's chance of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Three goals in four second-half minutes turned the tie for the Socceroos, who now join Korea Republic, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan and Uzbekistan as the 10 teams left in the Asia Zone.

The sides are now split into two groups, with the winners and runners-up qualifying and the third-placed sides playing-off to face the fifth ranked South American side for a place in Brazil.
