Albion Rovers 1-0 Stenhousemuir

A late goal by Jack Werndly gave Second Division bottom club Albion Rovers victory against Stenhousemuir.

There were few chances in the first half, Derek Gaston denying Stenny's Stewart Kean early on.

Werndly had an effort blocked by Alistair Brown but did find the net on 83 minutes with a fine strike.

The visitors were then awarded a penalty following Gaston's foul on Andy Rodgers but the keeper atoned for his mistake by saving Eric Paton's penalty.

Rovers are now just a point behind Stirling Albion and Forfar Athletic.
