Rodgers proud despite defeat

Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers says he is proud of his players and their performance despite a 3-1 defeat away against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Rafael van der Vaart opened the scoring for Spurs, before a stunning 25-yard Gylfi Sigurdsson strike drew Swansea level. But a brace from Emmanuel Adebayor put an end to the away side's spirited performance.

Rodgers also says he is "fully focused" on Swansea after being touted as Harry Redknapp's successor at Tottenham last week.
