Crawley Town 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

Gary Alexander rescued a point for 10-man Crawley with a late equaliser to deny AFC Wimbledon and extend his side's unbeaten run to 11 games.

Crawley defender Hope Akpan was sent off in the sixth minute for a wild lunge on Jason Prior, who was stretchered off with a broken leg.

Sammy Moore put the Dons ahead by blasting home from 15 yards following a square pass by George Moncur.

But Alexander equalised soon afterwards with an equally emphatic finish.

Prior has broken leg - Brown

"Jason Prior is in hospital, they're going to keep him in overnight, they're debating whether to operate, he's broken his leg but we are not too sure the extent of the damage.

"He will be out four six to eight months.

"I don't think there was anything malicious by the boy, of course it was a sending off because he broke his leg but it was not malicious."
