Everton confidence delights Round

Assistant manager Steve Round is delighted with Everton's "very impressive" 4-0 win over Sunderland, saying the Toffees' "confidence" has returned at the right time as they look to qualify for the Europa League next season.

Everton, who face Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final next weekend, would qualify for the Europa League by winning the trophy in May, but they would also secure a spot should they lose the final to a club that qualifies for the Champions League, which is possible as Chelsea and Tottenham are the other semi-finallists.

Round says Everton are relishing the Merseyside derby as the fixture will be a "wonderful occasion" for the club.
