Jimmy Callacher celebrates his goal as Coleraine players look on

Shane Jennings salvaged a point for Coleraine by latching onto a through ball from David Ogilby and shooting low past the advancing Elliott Morris with five minutes left at Ballycastle Road.

The Glens had taken the lead against the run of play in the 40th minute when Jimmy Callacher headed in after meeting Stephen Carson's cross from the left.

Curtis Allen and David Scullion had first-half chances for the home side.

Morris saved shots from Ryan McIlmoyle and Stephen Lowry late in the game.

Allen had the first clearcut chance of the game but he scuffed his shot wide.

The Bannsiders then had a strong appeal for a penalty turned down by referee Raymond Crangle after Colin Nixon appeared to have handled in the area.

Allen went close with a header while Callacher cleared a David Scullion attempt off the line.

Callacher broke the deadlock against the run of play before the break, but Oran Kearney's men fought back to earn a draw.
