Forest Green 2-0 Darlington
Goals from Kieron Forbes and Yan Klukowski helped Forest Green comfortably beat relegated Darlington.
Forbes gave the host's the lead early on when he fired in a superb effort from 25 yards out.
Darlo's best opportunity came when Drewe Broughton's effort crept wide of the post, just before he saw red prior to the break.
Klukowski then drove home past keeper Jordan Pickford from inside the box to wrap up victory for Rovers.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Forest Green manager Dave Hockaday told BBC Gloucestershire:
"It was efficient, we started off really fast and scored a great goal but it then went a bit flat.
"Three points, clean sheet, 70 points in total we would have taken that before the season started.
"There's a link between the players and fans and we could hear that before the game, they're getting louder and there's more of them which is what we want.
"We need to have more performances like today against teams at the bottom of the table and we've improved immeasurably since Christmas."
Darlington manager Craig Liddle told BBC Tees:
"It's a fantastic strike - no keeper at any level would have saved that and that's after four minutes. I feared the worst given the run we're on.
"We dug in, regrouped and hit the post through Ryan Bowman, but 10 seconds later they nearly scored - so we come close to levelling but then they come back and nearly kill the game off.
"We kept going and that's all I can ask for."
