Alloa Athletic 3-1 Stranraer

Champions Alloa got back to winning ways as they saw off Stranraer for the fourth time this season.

Stranraer slipped to third in the table after a third straight defeat but have already secured a place in the play-offs.

Alloa went ahead in the 13th minute through Ryan McCord, the midfielder finding the top corner with a thunderous 20-yard effort.

Grant Gallagher equalised for the away side in the 25th minute, firing in from the edge of the penalty area for his first league goal of the season.

But Alloa were back in the lead nine minutes later when Robert Winters slotted home from close range.

McCord volleyed in the third from the edge of the area for his 10th goal of the season as Alloa bounced back from last week's heavy defeat against Berwick.
