Villa draw fair result - Hodgson
- From the section Football
West Brom manager Roy Hodgson believes his side's 0-0 draw at home to struggling Aston Villa was a fair result, praising the Villans' "hard-working" performance.
Hodgson states the Baggies should have been awarded a penalty following an Alan Hutton handball in the second half, and thinks they were "robbed" by a "magnificent" Shay Given save at the end of the game, but accepts the draw was a fair result over the course of 90 minutes.
The result ensures West Brom will finish the season as the top side in the Midlands, with Hodgson stating his team "deserve to take an awful lot of credit" for the accolade.
