More Rotherham signings to follow - Steve Evans
Rotherham United boss Steve Evans has reiterated his promise there will be a number of new faces arriving at the club this summer.
Evans made his first signing as Millers manager on Thursday with the capture of Exeter forward Daniel Nardiello.
"It's not just going to be players arriving for no sums, there's a couple next week that we'll be offering money for," Evans told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"The chairman and his board have been wonderfully supportive in that way."
He continued: "The summer is going to be exciting for everyone here, from the chairman down.
"It's my job to take responsibility for the new players we bring in and we're speaking to five or six at the moment."
The former Crawley boss was pleased to bring Nardiello to the club before the move to a new ground, The New York Stadium, during pre-season. He admitted he had twice tried to sign the player for his previous club and had spent a long period tracking him.
"He's a goalscorer, he's got good feet and an eye for a goal. Our supporters are going to love him," the Scot explained.
