Alan Marriott eager to extend Mansfield Town contract
Mansfield Town goalkeeper Alan Marriott says he would relish the opportunity to sign a new deal.
Marriott was a key member of the side which reached the Blue Square Bet Premier play-offs and has been first choice since joining in January 2009.
He made 47 appearances last season but is out of contract this summer.
"I have no intention of moving and if Mansfield want to sign me, I would jump at the chance to stay," the 34-year-old told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"I've enjoyed my time and if you enjoy your time and everything fits the bill, like location-wise where I live in Lincoln, then that's where you play your best football."
