Jelavic big asset for Croatia - Bilic

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic says his respect for Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland team could not be bigger, ahead of the Euro 2012 meeting between the two sides in Poznan on Sunday.

Ireland go into the game on the back of a 14-match unbeaten run, and buoyed by the news that goalkeeper Shay Given has been passed fit to play.

Bilic also believes that in-form Everton striker Nikica Jelavic is one of Croatia's "biggest assets", and has become even more crucial to the squad after Ivica Olic was forced to withdraw from the tournament because of injury.
