Tamworth 1-4 Braintree Town

Braintree Town moved out of the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation zone after hammering Tamworth.

Dan Holman's close range effort and Matthew Paine's strike from the edge of the area set the visitors on their way.

Luke Daley slotted home Holman's centre to make it three before Adam Cunnington followed up his own saved penalty to pull one back for the home side.

Kenny Davis dispatched a late spot kick for Braintree after Richard Tait had fouled Ryan Watts in the box.

We fully deserved win - Devonshire

"We fully deserved it. We took our chances today and that's what it's about sometimes.

"The pitch is decent, we need to move the ball quick and sharp. Big, boggy pitches don't help us.

"Everyone was saying 'get a new forward in', but I've got faith in the players that I've bought in and I've got faith in the players that are here."
