Man City in good shape - Pellegrini

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says his team are in "good shape" and "absolutely ready" for the new Premier League season.

The former Real Madrid and Malaga boss reveals Scott Sinclair will not be forced to go on loan to another club against his wishes, and backs Joe Hart to prove "why he is the best goalkeeper in England" following a mistake in England's 3-2 win over Scotland in midweek.

Chilean Pellegrini, who took charge at Etihad Stadium in June, has spent almost £90m on four signings since becoming manager, with Jesus Navas, Alvaro Negredo, Fernandinho and Stevan Jovetic making to move to Manchester.
