Luton Town 4-1 Hyde

Andre Gray

Andre Gray's hat-trick helped Luton Town earn a comfortable victory over struggling Hyde and stretch their unbeaten run to seven matches.

Gray put Luton ahead but the visitors scored their first goal in seven games to level before the break when Steve McNulty headed into his own net.

But Luke Guttridge volleyed the hosts' second and a Gray volley made it 3-1.

Luke Ashworth was sent off on 68 minutes for felling Gray, who sealed his treble with a close-range strike.

Luton Town manager John Still told BBC Three Counties Radio

"Our second-half our performance we would have scored against most teams. It's good to score goals and we're scoring goals at the minute, which is a plus for me.

Luton Town boss John Still on Hyde win

"Andre Gray is a young man finding his way and it's important that he gets support. He's looking at his combination together with Paul (Benson); the two of them together are electric.

"(Benson's) movement is first class. It is about combinations with forwards, and maybe we've found a good one."
