Hereford United 0-1 Barnet
Ahmed Abdulla's header helped Barnet record only their second victory in 10 matches as they edged past Hereford.
The visitors nearly opened the scoring after five minutes but Keanu Marsh-Brown's long range effort was saved by Rhys Evans.
Marsh-Brown then turned provider when he crossed from the left and Abdulla nodded in from close range.
The home side almost equalised after the break but Graham Stack saved Ross Dyer's scuffed volley.
Barnet debutant Carl Fletcher lasted 56 minutes before being taken off, the 33-year-old former Plymouth Argyle manager having helped the visitors to a much-needed win.
On-loan Hereford striker Richard Brodie is now back at Gateshead after completing his one-month loan at Edgar Street, in which he scored once in eight appearances.
