Chesterfield 1-1 Scunthorpe United
Chesterfield were denied a first win in seven games as Luke Waterfall's late header secured a draw for Scunthorpe.
Marc Richards gave the hosts an early lead, firing beyond Sam Slocombe from the edge of the box after Waterfall had failed to deal with a low cross.
After the break Jamie Devitt hit the crossbar with a free-kick and Richards had a header ruled out for offside.
An unchallenged Waterfall equalised two minutes from time when he sent Terry Hawkridge's free-kick past Tommy Lee.
The point moves Chesterfield up to third in League Two while Scunthorpe are two points behind the Spireites in eighth.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Scunthorpe United manager Brian Laws told BBC Radio Humberside:
"Particularly after Tuesday we wanted a solid performance to bounce back. If we lose a game we have to make sure we respond.
"There was good movement off the ball, if you put a good ball in we have the strength to attack it.
"It was a very windy day and kicking against the wind, we had no idea where the ball was going to be landing.
"But they worked extremely hard and stuck by the task."
