Burton Albion 0-1 Morecambe
Ryan Williams' deflected effort saw Morecambe snatch a win at the Pirelli Stadium and end 10-man Burton's three-game winning run.
The visitors started brightly and almost went ahead when Kevin Ellison fired against the foot of the post.
Ellison then capitalised on a defensive error and his effort hit team-mate Williams to deflect into the net.
Chris Hussey volleyed wide in reply and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff was sent off for a second bookable offence.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Burton manager Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby:
"I felt a little bit disappointed really. It was a game that was pretty even.
"We've had an awful lot of the ball, an awful lot of opportunities to do something with it, but we've just not created clear chances and we didn't test them enough to win the game.
"I would probably say a draw would have been a fair result, but football's not fair at times.
"I was just disappointed by our lack of cutting edge at times in the game and I think that was the most disappointing factor for me."
