Hull beaten by better team - Bruce

Hull boss Steve Bruce says his team were beaten by a better side, after watching the Tigers' 4-1 defeat at in-form Southampton.

Morgan Schneiderlin's header put Saints ahead, before a Rickie Lambert penalty and a brilliant individual effort from Adam Lallana gave the home side a 3-0 lead. Yannick Sagbo pulled one back for Hull before Steven Davis drove in for 4-1.

The win means Southampton remain in the hunt for a top four Premier League place, and now face away fixtures at Arsenal and then Chelsea.
