Salisbury City 3-2 Macclesfield Town

A brace from Dan Fitchett helped Salisbury beat Macclesfield to claim a sixth straight home win.

Fitchett put the hosts ahead, but Macclesfield levelled with a first-half stoppage time penalty from Connor Jennings after Scott Boden was fouled.

The visitors went ahead when Paul Turnbull tucked in Danny Rowe's pass, but Fitchett replied from the spot.

Jamie White then lashed in Fitchett's nod down for 3-2 and Macclesfield had Scott Kay sent off in the 90th minute.

Post-match: Salisbury boss Harris

Salisbury City manager Mikey Harris told BBC Wiltshire:

"Exciting is one word to describe it! It was a difficult afternoon.

"I was disappointed with our play today and we nearly got punished.

"The lads are disappointed but it's a sign of a good team if you're picking up results when you're not playing well.

"I just felt we didn't really get our game going today but I'm pleased to come out with a win."
