Braintree Town 1-0 FC Halifax Town

Kenny Davis scored a second-half penalty to hand Braintree Town three home points against Halifax, their first victory in four games.

The spot-kick was awarded for a foul by Marc Roberts on striker Sean Marks, with Davis converting coolly.

Before the penalty, Josh Wilson twice shot wide for Halifax, who remain without a Conference Premier away win.

But chances were at a premium in an even contest, with Marks coming closest to adding to the home side's tally.
