PSV 2-6 Vitesse

PSV v Vitesse

Vitesse Arnhem hammered PSV Eindhoven to keep their place at the top of the Dutch table.

Ajax had gone temporarily top of the table thanks to a 4-0 win over NAC Breda earlier in the day with Davy Klaassen scoring a hat-trick.

But Lucas Piazon, one of four Chelsea loanees playing for Vitesse, put his side ahead in the first half although Memphis Depay levelled on the stroke of half-time.

Mike Havenaar re-established the visitors' lead and Kelvin Leerdam made it 3-1. Karim Rekik gave mid-table PSV hope with six minutes left but Davy Propper scored for Vitesse seconds later.

Patrick van Aanholt, another Chelsea player, made it 5-1 before Propper got his second in the final minute.

Vitesse, who have never won a major trophy in their 121-year history, have six players on loan from Chelsea thanks to strong links between owners Merab Jordania and Roman Abramovich.
