Nuneaton Town 0-2 Woking

Second-half goals from Jack Marriott and Kevin Betsy earned Woking a surprise win at Nuneaton.

The hosts, who had won their last four league games, were denied in the first half by visiting keeper Sam Beasant who kept out two strikes from Adam Walker.

Marriott then slotted in his seventh goal in six games past Kelle Roos from close range to put the Cards in front.

Ten minutes later, Betsy burst through the Boro defence and placed the ball beyond Roos to seal the win.

Woking manager Garry Hill told BBC Surrey:

"It's a big result for us as it was going to be tough with Nuneaton sitting in the top five and our overall away form in the league but I was looking for a big reaction and I felt we dominated the game.

"I felt from 1-0 onwards we would go on and win it and over the 90 minutes, I don't think anyone could have too many complaints. We kept a clean sheet and I got a great reaction.

"We've taken 15 points in the last six games and it's a very good start to the Christmas period, and when you look at today's game it and there's five games in 15 days then today was a great start."
