Wycombe Wanderers 0-1 Newport County
Newport County moved up to fifth in League Two with victory at Wycombe.
The Exiles began well, Christian Jolley hitting the underside of the bar with a half volley from the corner of the box.
But Mike Flynn then flicked home Adam Chapman's long ball first-time with the outside of his right foot for the game's only goal on 31 minutes.
Wycombe, who have not won at home in the League since October, twice had efforts cleared off the line - from Jo Kuffour and Matt McClure.
Tom Naylor came close to doubling the visitors' lead with 10 minutes left with a volley that flew wide.

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"There weren't many chances in the whole game. Newport didn't create much, we didn't create much, but Newport took one of those, and that was the difference.
"We had a couple of good chances second half and didn't convert. It was a bitty game. The ball was in the air a lot and I didn't like that too much. But we go again Sunday. That's the important thing now.
"We always do well in adversity though, so hopefully we can do the David and Goliath thing, and we'll be victors over Fleetwood."
Newport County manager Justin Edinburgh told BBC Radio Wales:
"It's an excellent win. I thought we dominated the first half in possession and looked threatening. Second half we had to defend very well.
"The finish was executed brilliantly and it's probably the best we've scored this season. We're very, very confident right now.
"We are getting closer to survival which was the aim of the football club but now I think we are where we are. We have to be positive and aim for as high as we can possibly go."
