Rodgers not the enemy of officials

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says he is not the "enemy of officials" following an £8,000 fine for comments he made after the defeat at Manchester City.

The former Swansea boss says he did not doubt the integrity of Lee Mason despite questioning the appointment of the Bolton-based referee after the 2-1 loss.

Rodgers insists he has always supported officials and he was just "speaking honestly".
