Hyde 3-4 Lincoln City

Tom Miller's last-minute winner for Lincoln settled a seven-goal thriller with bottom club Hyde at Ewen Fields.

Mitchell Austin set up Delano Sam-Yorke to put the Imps in front but Connor Hughes nodded in to level.

Thierry Audel's header restored the lead but a second from Hughes and Josh Brizell's long-range effort put Hyde on course for a second win of the season.

However, Ben Tomlinson fired home from inside the box for 3-3 and Miller converted Alan Power's cross to win it.

Post-match: Lincoln manager Simpson

"We kept going and that's the main thing.

The game should have been over after 10 minutes when we could have been 5-0 up but we've missed a few chances in unbelievable conditions and went 3-2 behind.

"But to have the character to come back and win the game is terrific for the lads. I'm pleased as punch for them all.

"We didn't want to be the first team that they beat here this season and it looked at one stage that it might be that way. But it was a rollercoaster, a great game for the spectators."
