Coleraine's Davy McDaid celebrates with goal scorer Stephen Lowry

Stephen Lowry volleyed into the top corner from eight yards out in the 80th minute to earn Coleraine victory over Crusaders at Ballycastle Road.

In the first half, David McDaid volleyed wide from a good position.

For the Crues, Declan Caddell forced Eugene Ferry into a fine save and Paul Heatley fired a volley over the bar.

Also in the first half, Matthew Snoddy was carried off with a knee injury, while, after the break, Eoin Bradley was wide with a couple of efforts.

Snoddy sustained a suspected cruciate ligament injury.

Crusaders remain fourth in the league and Coleraine ninth.
