Tamworth 1-2 Forest Green Rovers

Yan Klukowski set play-off-chasing Forest Green on their way to victory over lowly Tamworth.

Klukowski tucked home his ninth of the season to put Rovers ahead, before the Lambs' Jack Evans forced Sam Russell into a save with a 30-yard volley.

James Norwood doubled Forest Green's lead from 18 yards.

Matt Godden gave the Lambs hope of a comeback from the penalty spot after being fouled by Aarran Rancine, who saw red for his foul, but Rovers held on.

Forest Green Rovers manager Adrian Pennock told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:

Post-match: Forest Green boss Pennock

"What a great result! For us to take nine points in the week is fantastic and I'm really chuffed.

"The effort, attitude and mental strength that we've shown was absolutely fantastic.

"I think we could and should have scored another four or five more goals, maybe I'm being greedy but I'll take the three points."
